Bodega Sauci
Bodega Sauci (www.bodegassauci.es)is one of the oldest wineries in Condado de Huelva. The Condado de Huelva region is located in the southeast of the province of Huelva on the Atlantic coast between the river Guadiamar and the river Rio del Tinto. The Sauci family is originally French. In the late 18th century a French family called Saussi settled in the region. She did everything she could to get the wine production in order. Since then it has been passed down from generation to generation within de Saussi family. Finally at 1925, Bodegas Sauci was officially founded by Fernando Sauci.
At the moment his granddaughters are now running the business, one of the very few bodegas in Andalucia run by women.
